Melon Magic

I am so pleased with my new book Melon Magic.

This book contains six projects all made using two Melon Perspex templates. One large and one small.

The easy applique can be done by hand or machine blanket stitch or needle turn applique.

Homespun Project

It's always a thrill to see your projects featured in magazines. I called this quilt Fresh as a Daisy. The fabrics are Twig and Grace by Riley Blake.

This is such an easy and quick quilt to make and is also gorgeous in flannel.

Scrappy Time #3

This project is tiny tumbling blocks using blue as my scrap fabric colour. With 1/4" sashing to frame the colours, this cushion is a quick and easy project to make using up some more scrap fabrics.

A lovely combination of using up beige/cream squares for the background and a wide variety of green fabric for the leaves and sashing.

These are all sewn using machine blanket stitch but you can sew it by hand if preferred.

This lovely quilt is rotary cut and machine pieced and can be made as big as you like.

Loving the bright colours with a white background. It's amazing what you can make with scraps.
